If you haven’t already heard Louis Vuitton is coming out with a book in mid September Louis Vuitton: Art, Fashion and Architecture. I love how art and fashion collide to make beautiful / bold statements. I am pretty excited about the architecture as well since that is my background.

Included in this volume are Louis Vuitton’s important collaborations with an elite group of artists, architects, designers, and photographers, such as Jun Aoki, Shigeru Ban, Vanessa Beecroft, Olafur Eliasson, Zaha Hadid, David LaChapelle, Jean Larivière, Annie Leibovitz, Takashi Murakami, Richard Prince, Stephen Sprouse, James Turrell, Inez Van Lamsweerde, and Vinoodh Matadin.

I am soo happy to see David LaChapelle and Annie Leibovitz are in the book, they are my favorite photographers!!

All of us have seen the Kanye West x Takashi Murakami Golden Bear sculpture that comes in a Metallic Gold, now Murakami has gotten back together with one of his long time collaboration partners, Louis Vuitton, to create this Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Panda figure. The figure comes in a LV bag, similar to the ones that hold all of their wallets and bags, only this bag comes with a few Murakami images screened onto it. No word on if this collaboration collector’s item will be released, stay tuned. via VERBAL
