So I meet her at our usual spot and shes with this kid. I think it’s her boy. Apparently not. Homeboy stands RIGHT next to her and my face has this look of ‘where’s the personal space??’ and she gives me the ‘OMG WTF is he doing!?’ eyes. Dsy hates personal contact. Unemployment is fun and all but it restricts what I can buy. Makes me think twice three times about purchasing another pair of sneakers. I torture myself looking through circulars and catalogs. Email blasts haunt me. I thought it would teach me how to be frugal but all it taught me was how to be broke.
On the biggest shopping day of the year, while everyone’s on line waiting to trample that new employee I’ll be sleeping dreaming about Nike’s and that Marc Jacobs bag that Roxee was rocking on Wednesday night.

This month has been ridiculous! How could I forget that Tough Love’s blog turned ONE on the 9th!?!

What do you say at a time like this? Do you go through all the memories in your head and realize most have been stored and some forgotten because its been so long. I have this heavy feeling of ‘DAMN’. I’m never going to see this person again. Never going to laugh about bullshit. Talk trash to each other. The feeling I can’t get over the most is imagining how his mom feels. That feeling of emptiness can knock the wind right out of you. My heart goes out to her.
We try to take that mini vacation away from the everydayness but sometimes it can lead us into early retirement.

I see the most bizarre things outside my window. People getting robbed, beat up, rolled up on etc….
I would have never remembered this happening if I didn’t snap a picture of it. Basically I was woken up out of a dead sleep at 4:30am to a rap cypher. Random. Who are all these people that come to these benches?! Are these benches listed on Yelp or something?
Luckily I had no where to be today or I would have been pissed if I had like an hour left of sleep until I had to wake and start the rat race.
The rain almost stopped me until I said FUCK IT and skedaddled.

The youth came out of the school right there to talk to us. Then came back with their black books, markers and their mom. It was cute. I hate when writers are dicks to kids. It’s all about the youth. They keep you forever young!

Chi Chi is also an Art director and just did a photoshoot for Crimes of Passion showcasing 2 female MC’s and some female brands including Tough Love!! I got a sneak peak and they made my insides hot and tingly. The issue comes out December.
