im pretty bummed about the loss of 92.3 k rock. it happened about a month ago but im lucky enough to not have to listen to the radio unless im in someones car… and now theyve turned the only rock station into another top 40 format. do we really need this shit? do i really need to bump into britney fuckin spears or lil crackhead wayne every other station? someone please continue to drug this bitch illegally, and someone else spike this cock suckers drank so they both bite the dust. no more pa pa pa poker face either, that bitch is a glorified tranny.

its been a while… i’ve been spending too much time partying and not enough time focused on the prize.   Being the procrastinator that i am, i left writing my paper completely UNprioritized (thanks dsy for the constant reminder, it didnt work =/ ) Anyways,  enough about all that, who’s going to the pillowfight this saturday?!!  hit me up if you see me, i’ll definitely have some goodys =)

this rainy weekend sucked. i stayed home and did nerdy things with my boyfriend. i stumbled upon and he found some shit called vuze where he can download movies and not destroy the computer.

my most interesting find was this from animal magazine. not to be a dick or anything but jesUNO did this first. however, this is pretty fucking awesome, a nod to the old school, and a bite off the new school. its all love.

* Single rides would go from $2 to $2.50—a 25% hike;
* 7-day unlimited cards would be $31 (currently $25)—a 24% hike;
* 14-day unlimited cards would be $59 (currently $47)—a 25% hike;
* 30-day unlimited card would be $103 (currently $81)—a 27% hike;
* 7-day express bus cards would be $51 (currently $41)—a 24% hike;
* Pay-per-ride Metrocard bonuses are kept intact (though what the final bonuses are is still undetermined)

i spent my evening yesterday at Webster Hall watching several heated competitions in 2D, 3D, and motion graphics; courtesy of my significant other (thanks babe!).  Although the person we went to see compete didnt win, he sure did make it to the finals, which is a win in itself! I was definitely impressed with the material i saw and was surprised to find the place packed with people! I guess this must be a big thing in the Graphic Design world.  The highlight of the night was the motion graphics competition, where Jake Guttormsson won not only the audience favorite but the competition itself! His 15 second clip was not only funny but simple and to the point.  For more info about the winner’s of each category and upcoming events  go to the Cut&Paste website.
